Governor Crist Inherited High Taxes, High Insurance Coupled With High Gas Pump Prices!

Crist says: "I am very upset with this situation. And I am here to tell you that I have heard the voice of the people. I have given both the Senate and the House the green light to come up with the best solutions to shift the tax burden off of the Floridian.

The financial burden that Floridians are facing is the top priority of this administration. As Governor of Florida I am assuming this position as a servant of the people. I have this burning desire not to point fingers at the past but to plan and incorporate a prosperous future for all Floridians!

Therefore, I have given both the Florida House and the Senate the green light to come up with the solutions to turn our economy around.

The Legislators are keeping me informed of developments as they arise. I am optimistic that we will come up with a solution that will work for the people rather than against the people.

Whatever we do, we must first make sure that our solutions do not cause more problems then the problems they profess to alleviate. Therefore, we need to exhaust all possible alternatives before presenting our recommendations to the people of Florida for their acceptance.

Delegation

It is an honor for me to serve as your Governor and I will never take anything for granted. I have made strong promises to the people and now it is my turn to deliver. I realize that trust is not granted but earned. And I am working hard to earn your trust.

I come from a background of people who believe in instituting a well thought out plan and working hard to make the plan work.

Therefore, I feel the pain of the people and regardless to how ruff the waters get, regardless of how strong the pressure gets, regardless of how many hurdles are thrown against me I will continue on my quest. And I refuse to be backed into a corner, I refuse to put a bandaid on a cracking dame just to temporarily appease the very people that I have been sworn to protect.

Because I know that the only way to produce the desired results begins with a well thought out plan incorporating sound solutions and hard work to implement the project successfully.

We are working with both sides of the isle. The legislators both democrats and republicans are working hard together to resolve this issue for the people of Florida!

The people of Florida voted me into office because they believed that I was the best candidate to tackle the problems facing Florida today. As your servant I will begin to earn the trust you bestowed on me as solutions to Florida's problems begin to get resolved.

And when the new legislation is enacted hold on to your seat belts because the housing market will shift into a dramatic revival. Then everything else will begin to flourish in this state also.

Thus: "I will not rest until the will of the people is satisfied"

The New Florida State Repbulican Chairman Jim Greer Reviews The New Revolutionary Direction Of The Party With the Delegation!

We are not going to conform to the old mold of the party. We are in the process of revolutionizing our way of thinking and doing things. We are headed into a totally new direction.

Our plan is to revive the Florida economy. And to revive the economy we must think of what is best for all the people that we serve. In our plan to revive the economy the poor as well as the rich will all prosper. We have learned that if only the rich prosper, the poor will leave and the economy will fall again. Thus our plan will include a healthy balance for all.

We want you to go back home understanding that our major decisions will be based on that premise. That we are working to rebuild Florida to make it a better place for all Floridians.

It is an ambitious plan and we cannot do this alone. We need your help to rebuild Florida. Yes, we can vote on new legislation and we are working on that but that is not enough for the new standards that we are setting into place.

We have a governor that feels the pain of the people. And you are his front line. To truly be for the people we need to get more involved in community affairs. And as you get more involved in the community you will pass the torch to all Floridians.

And so we are passing the torch of hope, love and understanding along to you. The governor is depending on you to carry this torch into our counties, our cities and our streets. A torch of love and understanding that will reignite the hearts of all Floridians once again.
